Description Maras salt comes from hot, underground springs in Peruvian Andes at an altitude of 4000m. It was discovered and utilized by the Incas. It is a naturally clean product - free from any contamination of the modern world. The pink salt of the Incas - or Maras Salt (it attributes its name to the city of Maras found in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas) - possesses many natural minerals - i.e. magnesium, iron, calcium, copper and zinc. These minerals make the salt crystals to have a slightly pink color. Salt Maraska a valuable product that should permanently reside in every kitchen. |
