Plant description A biennial whose native area of distribution is a significant part of Europe, Asia, Algeria and Tunisia in North Africa. It reaches a height of 30-120 cm, has a fairly thin at the base of the roughly hairy stems, resistant to rupture due to the content of strong fibers. It has rare leaves and blue (sometimes pink) flowers and pile root, little branched, thick, meaty, brown and bitter in taste. |
