COMMON OAK - dried bark - 250g
Plant description A species typical of the type of oaks, including deciduous trees of the beech family. Occurs in Europe (except North Scandinavia) and Southeast Asia. Valued for its hard and durable wood. It is a long-lived species, it lives more than 700 years. Due to the impressive size it achieves, it makes a majestic impression and therefore plays an important role in symbolism and formerly in religious worship. It is a symbol of longevity, dignity and strength. Old specimens are often protected as nature monuments. |

Properties Herbal raw material - oak bark - contains tannins, elagotannins and protoanthocyanidins, inactive and insoluble in water flobafenes form in older or longer stored cortices - externally decoction is used for rinses, wraps and washings in case of inflammation of the skin, mucous membranes, excessive sweating, frostbite and light burns - has astringent, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and anti-diarrheal properties !!! Note - Do not use orally in inflammatory conditions of the gastric mucosa and including preparations containing alkaloids, iron and magnesium salts. |
