Properties Ingredients: produces an essential oil containing citral, carvon, nerol, dipentene, limonene, citroncol, geraniol, alpha and beta pinene, cineol, linalool and other bioactive substances. Like verbena, it helps in exhaustion, but also has diastolic and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has astringent, toning, carminative, digestive, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has a relaxing, calming and antidepressant effect - it strengthens the nervous system and calms the psyche, giving a sense of relaxation by reducing depression and stress. It harmonizes the functions of the heart, stimulates the activity of the uterus, strengthens lactation, supports the functions of the lungs, stomach, digestion and pleasantly refreshes the breath. Perfect for flatulence, stomach and intestinal cramps. It has a calming effect on the central nervous system, relieves migraines, depression, neuralgia, nausea, tachycardia, helps to regenerate and protect cells. It has antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Cineol contained in lemon verbena limits the multiplication of influenza viruses, yeasts of the Candida albicans species, Escherichia coli bacteria, and geraniol helps in the fight against parasites.
