Plant description A perennial. It occurs throughout Europe, in Central Asia and North Africa. It has been naturalized and is also grown in Australia and both Americas. It blooms from May to September. A cross-pollination is necessary for the fruit to form. It can only be made by insects with long mouth apparatus, mainly bumblebees. A honey plant. |
