Plant description Yuka (yucca flour - cassava) - the type of shrubs and perennials from the family of Euphorbiaceae. It comes from South and Central America and has been cultivated there as well as in Africa. Brazilian Indians began its cultivation in 3000 BC. In the sixteenth century it came to Africa and Indonesia. In the temperate climate it is so popular as potato in Europe. The utilized part is brown on the outside. Inside the root bulb is white or yellowish. Composition: - 20-40% of starch, The bulbs are subjected to friction or grinding and the resulting mass is roasted and dried.
