Plant description Maqui berry (maque) is an evergreen, dioecious small tree, growing to 4 to 5 feet tall. It grows wild in the Chilean Patagonia and Argentina. At the end of spring there are born small edible fruit - black-purple berries approximately 4-6 mm in diameter and containing 4-8 seeds. The taste is similar to blackberries. |
