Properties - antiseptic (prevents rot, fermentation and infection) - as a decoction with a local analgesic, e.g. after bruising, itching, biting arachnids and flying insects - used for inflammation of the throat, nose, abscesses, for rinsing e.g. with sick sinuses, catarrh of small and large intestine, diarrhea - an infusion of rhizomes and the herb avens works more strongly cholagogue and stimulates digestive processes and bile secretion - used for indigestion - when used together with the rhizome, it strengthens the antiseptic and antibacterial effect |
