Plant description This plant grows in the Amazon rainforest in Peru, both in high as well as low parts of the jungle.

Properties Cold-pressed oil from sacha inchi nuts. They are one of the most valuable oil plants. They comprise of proteins and very high content of fatty acids: - Omega-3 alpha-linolenic (up to 54%) - Omega-6 linoleic (33%) These acids have a beneficial effect of regenerating the skin, nails and hair. They improve elasticity of tissues, rebuild damaged tissue and stimulate collagen rebuilding. High content of vitamin A and E is a natural skin protection against free radicals, which are a major cause of premature aging. |
